3DMAX won LanTrek 2015 after securing a 2-0 victory over Menace in the grand final (16-2 on de_dust2 and 16-14 on de_mirage.
The Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre played host to yet another edition of the famous Finnish event LanTrek, with eight teams from across the country taking part in the CS:GO tournament, which had $6,000 up for grabs.
Fresh off recruiting Mikko "xartE" Välimaa from Menace after losing star player Aleksi "allu" Jalli to Ninjas in Pyjamas, 3DMAX beat manUplay and Paranoia in the group stage before cruising to a 2-0 victory over tryPANTS in the semi-final stage.

From the other half of the bracket came Menace, who attended the event with Jesse "zehN" Linjala as their fifth player. Niko "naSu" Kovanen's side also had a fairly easy route to the final as they beat Revoluted, tryPANTS and Paranoia without barely having to break a sweat.
The first map of the grand final, de_dust2, was completely one-sided as 3DMAX ran out 16-2 winners after picking up 14 rounds on the CT side. On de_mirage, Menace acquitted themselves really well but they still fell short in the final round against Joona "natu" Leppänen's men, who receive a considerable boost of motivation ahead of ESL One Katowice.
